Avoid aliasing effect with the automated filters for our measurement modules!

Avoid aliasing effect with the automated filters for our measurement modules! Aliasing effects can occur at several interfaces of the system during a measurement.

What does this mean?
When analogue signals are digitized, errors can occur during signal acquisition. For example, if the measurement signal contains frequency components that are higher than half the sampling frequency or if the sampling theorem is not observed (sampling frequency too low). This effect is called "aliasing".

Thanks to a multi-stage high-frequency pre-filter as well as a switchable hardware and software filter in the X-PlugIn, your measurements with the IPETRONIK modules are safe from this unwanted phenomenon.
