The new IPEmotion 2024 R2 release offers a wide range of new features. The most important new features include support for Amazon S3 and Windows SMB as well as the new IPE-CAM-007 USB camera. Direct writing of TEDS data and internal batteries for the IPE833 are now supported as well.

Support for Amazon S3 and Windows SMB
- New storage types "SMB drive" and "Amazon S3" in the communication settings
- All new and current storage options can be used in parallel
Support for the new USB Camera IPE-CAM-007
- USB connection
- Supports multiple USB Cameras on one USB port
- Up to 1920x1080 pixel at 15 fps
- Supported on all loggers with IPEmotion RT 2024 R2 or higher
Battery support in the IPE833
- Easy upgrade: the logger can be fitted with an optional battery at any time
- Customer-friendly installation and removal depending on the application by simply opening the plastic cover. The IP protection class of the logger is fully maintained.
- In "CAPS" mode, the internal battery ensures that the logger shuts down safely if the supply voltage drops out
- In the "Measuring" mode, the battery ensures a completely autonomous operation of the logger.
Writing of TEDS data
- Writing the sensor configuration directly from IPEmotion
- There is no need for additional software or separate hardware
- Requires X-Plugin 02.21
- In the "TEDS" mode of the scaling calculator, it is possible to save the data or to store them in the TEDS chip.
